I like the look of the ruler with the blade. That would be nice to have.

How to crochet:
This video tells you a little about how to crochet
Paper beads
A easy kit to make paper beads - good introduction to this craft.
Here is another one showing how to use recycled paper beads with newspaper and magazine paper. Use glue when rolling and then coat with varnish
when dry.

Paper making
These tutorials are really basic and easy to understand. They are a good introduction to different crafts. There are so many crafts you can do, try a few and see which you like ;)
A poormans screenprinting technique
I think what they do nt show you is that this is tricky and messy and unless your lines are good it wont turn out well but it might be good to play with depending on the design.
They also dont show you how to make the frame and where to get the silk for the screen
Easy basic Silkscreening kit
These videos are really easy to follow and well done.
This needs some better colours and stencils but has a lot of potential. Definately wastes too much ink for just a card. Its better to hand paint a card but if you get a cool stencil it would be brill for fabric and tshirts.

Bracelets: Braidy Beads
This looks sooo easy. The bead colours are just a bit 'iffy' and the clasps are too clashy to look good. Fun for smaller kids but I want something a bit better. The idea is great though and its just a simple braid! Great xmas present for little sisters ;)

This is a good video to watch: she uses 8 strands in only 4 directions:
Bracelets: Handmade cardboard loom (Circle) and wool
This video shows and easy way to make these cord bracelets using a few colours. The pattern works in series of three.
Mermaids
These are big mermaids we made - about A4 size.
We wanted to make a rag doll but did not find a cool pattern and then decided to make a mermaid instead as we love mermaids.
Did not find a good pattern on the internet so I designed on and we worked on it and adapted it until it was working for us. We used hand sewing and machine sewing. I pinned and cut out the patterns. We did the thread for the hair and machine sewed it on. They are stuff with pillow stuffing and it works ok. We used a knitting needle to help get the stuffing in. Patience is required. The faces are hand painted and it took a few to get it right as the material sucks up the paint and makes it run which ruined a couple. Now we have the best technique and everyone who sees them wants one :)
They take a while to make but when I look at the internet ones I think our pattern is really cool and we defiantely learnt by our mistakes :)
Unfort we just get to keep the rejects ha ha ha and did not keep a photo of the best one!

Using the square loom
These looms look like they make things easier than using a clipboard. With a clipboard its difficult to keep your threads in order and use them in the right order.
Friendship bracelets: Candy stripe
Here is one that shows how to do the candy stipe bracelet. They say the beginning is usally a bit of a mess. Some suggest ironing it. Knot and braid to finish. There is another way to finish with double link over knots that slide to fit various sizes...
Beading with a beading loom
Here is a video about how to do your pattern and how to bead onto your loom. It also tells you how to finish off your bracelet with braiding.
This next video is a bit loud so you can mute it if the music is too loud for you. For me the music makes it difficult to concentrate on the info LOL

Xmas Fayre
I made some bracelets and even earings for the Xmas Fayre. They turned out really nice and I even put them on cardboard squares for presentation :)
Some of my school mates even bought some. I will try and find the photos and post them. I was very happy that they turned out so nice :)
